Tuesday August 5, 2003 - Kane Vs. RVD set for SummerSlam

Yes, Last night it was announced that it would be Kane taking on Rob Van Dam at the SummerSlam Pay-Per-View. And let me just rant for a sec.. other than the two minutes of Kane, and the Y2J/RVD match (witch was awesome btw).. Raw was boring! But that's okay... I am really excited to see Kane using the Tombstone Piledriver in his regular arsenal now. I love that move! Yes it was Shane McMahon this week who felt the wrath of Kane's madness. Maybe we will see Kane and Shane go one-on-one in the coming weeks. And before I announce the updates, I would just like to say that I am really excited about Kane's new angle. I have not been this excited about WWE in a long time! Until next time Kanenites, Keep the Fire Burning! Oh and speaking of Kanenites, as a homage to Kane, I shaved my head and eyebrows CLICK HERE to see.

Tuesday July 29, 2003 - Kane Gets Ruthless!

Great news for Kanenites who collect WWE action figures. Jakks Pacific's new Line of "Ruthless Aggression" figures will feature Kane! That's Right, Kane is in the upcoming RA5 set! check out WrestlingFigs.com for pics of the new figures! It's about time we get a RA style Kane figure!
Word around the campfire is that Kane will have a match against Shane McMahon at SummerSlam.. This is just a rumor... I have also heard word that his opponent at the biggest PPV of the summer will be Taker or Brock Lesnar, but that too is just speculation and hear say.. Keep it here for the latest in all things Kane, and remember to Keep the fire burning, Kanenites!

Tuesday July 22, 2003 - A Tombstone For the C.E.O.

First thing I gotta say is I dig the shackled look on Kane... Only he can make such an outrageous Gimmick. Kane Rocks! Linda McMahon found out first hand last night that nobody is exempt from a Kane ass kicking! I'm hoping for a Kane Vs. Austin feud in the near future.. Maybe even an Inferno Match at Summer Slam. Who knows what's gonna happen? If you would like to discuss this topic, drop me an email at Mattitude@usa.com or hit up The Squared Circle Posting Board and discuss it there. Keep the fire burning, Kanenites...

Monday July 14, 2003 - Kane to the Rescue!

Yes it was indeed: Kane to the rescue... of what was otherwise a really boring episode of Raw. I found myself the entire evening just waiting to see what Kane would have to say in his sit down interview with good ole' J.R. My Reaction: OH MY GOD! Kane actually set Jim Ross on Fire! But the bigger story is that Kane scars are emotional rather than physical (witch dose explain the fact that he is not all burned up). I really like the direction that they are going with this. And next week Kane is in action against his former tag team partner Rob Van Dam. There is no chance in hell of me missing that one! Until next time Kanenites... Keep the fire burning.

Tuesday July 08, 2003 - 2 Weeks, 2 GM's, 2 Chokeslams!

Last night on Raw Kane showed the world just how much of a monster he can really be. He ran ramped leaving pure destruction in his wake. Tommy Dreamer and Rico found out first hand backstage the destructive nature of the big red machine. Later in the evening Raw Co-General Manager Stone Cold Steve Austin asked Kane to come down to the ring and address the fans. Kane came out to a huge ovation from the fans. But the cheers soon turned to jeers as Kane attacked the rattlesnake - Chokeslaming him straight to hell. Last Week Eric Bischoff got his and this week was Austin's turn. What is going to happen next week with the Big Bad Bald Red Machine?!?

Wednsday July 02, 2003 - TheChokeSlam Updates...

Well Kanenites, or at least the ones that are still with us... I have received several emails asking me what I thought about Kane's new look and where this unmasking will take him. I have decided to finally write my first column in "The Fire Still Burns", and answer all the questions. I had originally stated that this would be a monthly column, but I decided not to commit myself to that... So it will be a "whenever I feel like writing one" column. So with that said, be sure to check out the new column as well as the rest of today's updates.

Monday June 30, 2003 - Kane Hates the Fans!

First thing I gotta say is: Thank God they got rid of that "Three Stooges" Hair Cut! I think I like the bald look for Kane (not as much as the mask, but it looks cool).
As far as the "I hate the fans" comment... I think it would be really good for Kane if he were a heal. I just wish we could have seen more of Kane kicking ass tonight.. I guess we'll have to wait until next week to see more of the new Big Bald Red Machine!
